Getting started

Sign up, pick a template, answer a few questions — your agent is live in about 3 minutes. You can be talking to it from Telegram 5 minutes after that.

What you'll need

  • An email address and a payment method
  • A rough idea of what you want the agent to do (we have a catalog of templates — pick the closest fit, you can adjust it later)
  • About 10 minutes of uninterrupted time

1. Sign up + pick a plan

Go to /pricing and pick a plan. Starter is $15/month and is the right choice for your first agent. The first month is $7.50 (50% off) with the launch promo.

After checkout, you land in the customer portal at portal.cloudoagents.com.

2. Pick a template

From the portal, browse the templates and pick the role that fits what you want your agent to do. Each template comes pre-built with:

  • A personality — how your agent talks and behaves (you can adjust this after)
  • Capabilities — what your agent can do out of the box (you can add more later)
  • Setup questions — a handful of things only you know, like your business name and how you'd like your agent to handle certain situations

If nothing fits exactly, pick the closest one. You can adjust everything after it's live.

3. Answer the setup questions

Each template asks you for the details that make it yours — your business name, how you want it to speak to customers, what to do if someone asks something it can't handle, and so on. Most templates have 4–8 questions. Take a couple of minutes with these — the more specific you are, the better your agent performs.

4. Deploy

Click Deploy. Your agent gets its own private space, set up automatically with your answers baked in. The whole process takes about 3 minutes. The portal shows progress — when the status shows active, your agent is live.

5. Test it

From the portal, click Open my agent to open your agent's dashboard. From there:

  • Use the built-in chat panel to talk to your agent and make sure it sounds right
  • Adjust the personality or wording if anything feels off
  • Upload documents or links you want the agent to know about
  • Add any extra capabilities you need

6. Connect a channel

Once your agent is answering correctly, connect it to where your customers actually are. Setup guides:

WhatsApp, Slack, Signal, and iMessage are also supported. We'll be adding setup guides for those shortly.

What it costs to run

Two parts:

  • Subscription — covers your agent, all the channels, and support. Starter $15/month, Pro $39, Business $79.
  • Conversations — a small amount each time your agent has a conversation. You buy credit in advance and use it at your own pace. Most Starter customers spend $5–$15/month in conversations depending on how busy their agent is.

See /pricing for full details on how conversation billing works and how to upgrade or downgrade.

Stuck?

Open a support ticket from the portal. Let us know what you were trying to do and what happened — the more detail you give, the faster we can help.
