Get paid for referrals

Send your referral link to people who could use an AI agent for their business. When they sign up and stay subscribed, you earn $1 every month — paid straight to your PayPal whenever you want to cash out.

How it works, in plain English

• Every active customer has a personal referral link in the portal under Account → Referrals.
• When someone signs up through your link and pays their second monthly bill, $1 is added to your earnings. Their first month doesn't count — that's a guardrail against refund games.
• Every month they keep paying, another $1 lands in your balance. As long as they stay subscribed, you keep earning.
• Once your balance is at least $20, you can cash out to PayPal. No auto-payouts — you choose when.

Step 1 — Find your referral link

1. Log in to the portal at portal.cloudoagents.com.
2. Open Account → Referrals.
3. Copy the link at the top of the page. It looks like portal.cloudoagents.com/signup?referralcode=XXXX.

Anyone who signs up through that link is tagged as your referral automatically. They don't need to type a code — the link does it for them.

Step 2 — Add your PayPal email

We pay out via PayPal. Until your PayPal email is on file, the cash-out button stays off.

1. On the Referrals page, find the Get paid box.
2. Enter the email address that's tied to your PayPal account.
3. Click save. You can change it later if you need to.

Make sure the email exactly matches your PayPal — PayPal rejects payouts to addresses it doesn't recognise, and that comes back to you as a failed payout.

Step 3 — Share your link

Where you share is up to you — what tends to work well:

• A direct message to a friend or client who's mentioned wanting one
• A post in a community where people are already talking about the problem
• An “I use this” mention on social, with a one-line description and your link

You can see how many people have signed up through your link, and how many are still subscribed, on the same page (Active referrals and All-time referrals).

Step 4 — Watch your earnings build

The Earnings tile on the Referrals page shows your current cash-out balance. It moves every time one of your referrals pays a monthly bill (from their second month on).

If your balance is still $0 after a referral has signed up, that's usually because they're still in their first month — the $1 lands when their second bill is paid, not when they sign up.

Step 5 — Cash out

Once your balance is $20 or more, a Cash out button appears.

1. Click Cash out from the Get paid box.
2. Confirm the amount and your PayPal email. We send the full balance — no partial cash-outs.
3. The payout appears in Payout history with a status of Processing.

Status will flip to Paid once PayPal confirms it landed — usually within an hour, sometimes a bit longer if PayPal needs extra checks. If something goes wrong on PayPal's side (bad email, account restrictions), the status shows Failed and the money goes straight back into your earnings balance so you can fix the email and try again.

What about refunds?

If a referred customer refunds a month they'd already paid, the $1 we'd added for that month comes back off your balance. Money you've already cashed out stays with you — the reversal only touches your pending earnings.

Open a support ticket from the portal — pick the Referrals / payouts category and tell us what you were trying to do. If a payout's been Processing for more than 24 hours, or you can't see your referral link at all, that's us, not you.
